As a Washington Park area resident, Chris Perrin enjoys the beautiful scenery the park provides as well as the various recreational activities available in his own back yard. Chris, his wife Amy, and two children Carter and Hannah spend a lot of time in the parks. Over the years Chris and his family have developed a deep rooted love and appreciation for the park system. Chris remains passionate about preserving and improving our park system so all families can continue to enjoy the parks for years to come.
Chris was elected to the Park Board in 2007. Chris currently serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee. Chris earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law. Perrin currently serves as a partner with the law firm of Metnick, Cherry, Frazier, Sabin & Perrin, L.L.P. He was previously employed as Assistant General Counsel with Bank One Corporation and then with the Franklin Life Insurance Company. Chris has long been active in many civic groups and organizations throughout Springfield.
