Dog Runs are gaining in popularity and dogs certainly know why - there is nothing as much fun for a dog (and its human) as to run around off-leash, and play together. The Springfield Park District offers three Dog Runs specifically designed and built for you and your dog to socialize and exercise safely and off-leash! Each dog handler is legally responsible for his or her own dog. All handlers must remain in the park with their dog at all times. Dogs should remain leashed while walking between the parking lot and the dog runs.
