Along with the Nelson Center, which houses two indoor ice rinks, the Springfield Park District also provides seasonal outdoor ice skating at the Lincoln, Centennial, and lower Washington Park Lagoons. For your safety, Park District staff monitors the thickness of ice at each of these lagoons. When the ice is thick enough to safely support ice skating the “No Skating” signs will be removed and the public is welcome to enjoy outdoor ice skating. For your safety please obey the “No Skating” signs when posted.
