The Springfield Park District and the Springfield Parks Foundation strive to eliminate financial barriers that can prevent people from participating in programs and classes. How does the scholarship program work?
The first step in the process is to apply for a scholarship by completing an application form. The scholarship application must be approved prior to registering for a class. The application process can take up to 10 days. Therefore, potential candidates are strongly encouraged to initiate the application process far in advance of the program’s registration deadline.
Am I eligible for a scholarship?
Eligibility for assistance is based upon family size and income level. To determine if you are eligible for a scholarship simply complete a “scholarship application form” and mail it to the following address:
