Springfield, IL – The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that due to recent severe weather occurrences, progress of the bridge construction which is associated with the Interurban Trail closure between MacArthur and I-72 will need to be extended. The recent winter weather out breaks have hampered efforts to complete structural elements which impact the use of the Interurban Trail. The construction, while still ongoing, will progress slowly due to weather constraints and access to the project. |
