The Henson Robinson Zoo is located at 1100 East Lake Drive on Lake Springfield . The zoo has a large collection of both native and exotic animals. Highlights of the zoo include: the Black-Footed Penguin Exhibit, Monkey Island, Asian Black Bear Enclosure, Asian Primate Exhibits, Cheetah Exhibit, Red Wolf Exhibit and Cougar Exhibit. Nearly 100 varieties of bird and mammal species are cared for at the zoo. The front entry building hosts a classroom, a new "Zoovenir Shop" and a concession area. ZOOPER ADVENTURES (Ages 5-6, 7-9, 10-12) Is your child fascinated with animals?  These action-packed two hour classes focus on a variety of animal topics and include activities, crafts and an up-close animal visit.  Get ready for a zooper time! ZOO OUTREACH Let us bring the zoo to you.  These programs make use of slides and animals to bring the fascinating world of animals to both children and adults.  We offer informative and educational programs to schools, civic groups, nursing homes and daycares. PARTY WILD PARTIES (Ages 4-12) Looking for a great place for a birthday party?  The Henson Robinson Zoo provides you with everything that's needed to "Party Wild', from activities to the cake and ice cream.  We also do all of the preparation and clean-up, so all you have to do is enjoy your child's special day! ANIMAL ADOPTION Looking for the perfect gift for the person who has everything?  What about a gibbon, mountain lion, or even a lemur?  Feeding a family of 300 is no easy task and can be quite expensive.  By becoming a "Zoo Parent', your money helps support our animal programs and our veterinary care program. Adopt an animal and help the Zoo feed and care for their collection of animals. Adoption fees range from $15 to $100.
