Open since 1970, the Springfield Park District’s Henson Robinson Zoo offers visitors a glance at native and exotic animals in a park like setting. The zoo is home to over 300 animals from Africa, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. Henson Robinson Zoo’s animal collection encompasses approximately 90 species of native and exotic animals.
