Overview

The Velasco Tennis Center serves as the headquarters for district- wide tennis operations. It includes an indoor pro-shop. The Velasco Tennis Center also contains six courts with lights, six courts without lights and four platform tennis courts as well. Each year, the center opens during the first week of March.

    FAQs

    Do you have to be a member to play here?

    The Velasco Tennis Center is a public tennis court and membership is not required.  There is an admission cost to play on courts.

    Do you offer stringing services?

    We do string rackets and have a variety of string available.

    What type of programs do you have for kids?

    In the Summer, we have morning and evening classes for kids. In the Spring and Fall, we offer classes in the evenings.  All current youth tennis programs can be found on our Online Registration portal.

    What type of programs do you offer for adults?

    • We have adult drills in the Summer Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 6:30-8pm.
    • There is a Doubles League on Wednesday nights 5:30pm-9pm

    Are private lessons available?

    • Private one on one lessons are available as well as semi-private lessons with 2 or more players.  Contact the Tennis Center directly for more information, pricing and how to get signed up.
