The Springfield Park District provides a variety of athletic fields and sport courts throughout the community. Community members are welcome to utilize the Park Distrcit fields/courts on a first come first serve basis. However, the Park District permits fields/courts to teams, clubs and individuals. Please be aware that priority will be given to permitted field usage. Individuals and/or teams interested in reserving a field/court should contact the Recreation Coordinator for availability and guidelines for reservation.
All athletic fields will be maintained at the standard level of care with regards to dragging, mowing, chalking of the foul lines, application of turface, etc. Any requests for services above the standard of care will be charged appropraitely including use of lights.
