Special Olympics - Bowling

Description 

Come out and bowl with us! This program is inclusive, so you don't need to have a disability to attend. This time is also used for our Special Olympics bowling team for qualifications.

Special Olympics - Powerlifting 

Description 

Our program is designed to improve an athlete's one rep max in the bench press, deadlift and squat. The goal of a successful routine is to improve the athlete's powerlifting total.

Our program focuses on fun, sportsmanship, fundamental instruction, and opportunity. Learn hard work, teamwork, and social skills while having a great time discovering soccer!

Description 

Join our swim team and get great exercise during the winter months! Participants can learn and practice the following strokes: butterfly, breast stroke, freestyle, and backstroke. Participants MUST know how to swim to participate in this program.

After School Recreation 

Description 

Fill your afternoon with games, sports, arts and crafts, and hanging out with friends! We will offer an inclusive and fun atmosphere where we will laugh, play, grow, and learn new skills. Each child should bring a snack in a disposable container. Please no peanuts/nut products.

Description 

Join Special Recreation for a night filled with fun and friends at Erin's Pavilion. The room will be decorated based on the theme. Hang out and listen to music from a live DJ and boogie all night! Enjoy popcorn, lemonade, and water. The program is for individuals with and without disabilities.

Special Recreation: Express Yourself (Acting and Improv)

Description

Join or Acting and Improv class for a fun way to build acting and improv skills, while exploring self-expression. Our class will provide participants with a safe space to learn about themselves and how to express themselves physically, emotionally, and creatively. Description

Our Spring Break Camp is the perfect adventure for kids.

Springtime Social Week

Description

Need a fun and safe place for your child to attend while on Spring Break from school?

The Special Recreation department is extending its normal Social Club hours for a week-long camp type atmosphere that provides organized recreational activities such as: playing sports, games, making crafts, going on walks, playing outside on the playground, going on field trips, and more.

An afternoon snack will be provided. Please bring a sack lunch with no candy or soda.
