SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT HOSTS FIRST FUREVER FUNFEST!
[Springfield, IL] – The Springfield Park District is excited to announce our first annual FURever FUNfest on Saturday, August 6th from 8am-11am at Lincoln Park. Grab your pups and your friends for a morning of FUN for all.
While you are in the park, stop by to see all of our friends including representatives from the Animal Protective League, WILD Canine Rescue, Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control will all be there with pups available for adoption.
Don’t miss the Springfield Police Department’s K9 demonstration which will be something to remember. Tails to Remember, Courteous Canine and State Farm will be joining us to provide you with fun gifts, accessories and information for you and your pup. Additionally, take a FREE picture at the Dog’n’Me photo booth and enjoy concessions by Kona-Ice. The Springfield Park District will also have a Dog Yoga Class, Fun 5k, and Dog Paw Art Prints available for a nominal fee.
This FREE family FUN event is being provided by the Springfield Park District and Capitol Radio Group.
Come out and enjoy this great family event at Lincoln Park in front of the Nelson Center as we celebrate our pups during our first annual FURever FUNfest. All dogs must be on a leash and concessions. This is paw-sitively the coolest event of the summer!
