We’re making it easier than ever to stay in the know! The Springfield Park District is transitioning from the Rainout Line to the Springfield Park District App for all facility closures and program cancellations.

Lincoln Greens Golf Course and Pasfield Golf Course will be open Wednesday, February 18, and Thursday, February 19, beginning at 8:00 am, weather and frost permitting.

Outdoor skating ponds at Washington Park, Lincoln Park, and Southwind Park remain CLOSED, as ice has not yet reached the required thickness for safe skating. The Springfield Park District will continue to closely monitor ice conditions daily.

The Springfield Park District is excited to announce that Dreamland Park has been awarded a $600,000 grant through the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) program administered by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) This grant will support the redevelopment and enhancement of Dreamland Park, ensuring improved recreational amenities and expanded outdoor opportunities for residents.
