SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT TO HOST HOLIDAY ZOO LIGHTS AT HENSON ROBINSON ZOO THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
[Springfield, IL] – The Springfield Park District will host its annual Holiday Light event at the Henson Robinson Zoo! Welcome back to a new and exciting display this 2022 season.
The event is a self-guided walking tour through a light spectacular, set to holiday music from Pure Oldies 107.5 FM. Thousands of twinkling lights, animated LED displays, holiday backdrops, and a hot chocolate bar will highlight the evening. Times are 5pm to 9pm with the last admission at 8pm. Admission is $7.50 for Adults; $5.50 for Kids ages 3-12; Children 2 and under are FREE.

On select nights stop by the fire ring and have S’mores With A Keeper. The purchase of the s’mores fixings will go directly back to the purchase of fun enrichment items for the animals. Santa will be joining us the 16th-18th from 5-7pm. Don’t forget to pick up a pair of SUPER SWEET 3-D TWINKLE GLASSES (while supplies last) at the admission desk! They make the lights come to life in a variety of FUN characters and shapes! You might visit the animals as they enjoy you enjoying the lights. The red wolves, cougars, eagles, and many other are still viewable this time of year. It is dark outside and animals may choose to stay in the dark or remain in their private back rooms.*HENSON ROBINSON ZOO HOLIDAY ZOO LIGHTS is weather permitting.
