SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT HOSTS MONTHLY MOVIES IN THE PARK SERIES FOR 2023 - FRIDAY'S MOVIE LINEUP
[Springfield, IL] - The Springfield Park District is excited to announce May's first Movie in the Park Friday, May 19th at the Velasco Tennis Center. Grab your friends children, and blankets and join us for a FRE movie in the park!
In conjunction with Capitol Radio Group, the Springfield Park District is excited to be able to present this series each summer. These events are made possible by the following sponsors: Mike Williams Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Sewer, Molina Healthcare, Teamsters Local 916, NPR Illinois, SCHEELS, TROXELL, Masco Packing and Industrial Supply, My Friends Discovery Center, Heartland Coca Cola Bottling Company, and Springfieldmoms.org.
Friday’s movie will be “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” so come out and enjoy this great feature in the setting of the Velasco Tennis Center.
Movies in the Park is a free program where families and the entire community are invited to join us as we bring a big screen movie to your community parks on Fridays. Movie’s begin at dusk. These are truly great events.
The next Movie in the Park will be on Friday, June 16th at Comer Cox Park.
