SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT TO HOST HOLIDAY ZOO LIGHTS AT HENSON ROBINSON ZOO THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
[Springfield, IL] – The Springfield Park District will host its annual Holiday Zoo Lights event at the Henson Robinson Zoo! Welcome back to a new and exciting display this year with some FUN extras.
The event will host its opening weekend from November 24th through the 26th. The event is a self-guided walking tour through a light spectacular, set to holiday music from Pure Oldies 107.5 FM. Thousands of twinkling lights, animated LED displays, holiday backdrops, a hot chocolate bar, s’mores station and firepit, and a heated, tented sitting area will highlight the event. Times are 5pm to 9pm with the last admission at 8pm. Admission is $7.50 for adults; $5.50 for kids ages 3-12; 2 and under are FREE.

First thing, pick up a pair of SUPER SWEET 3-D TWINKLE GLASSES
(while supplies last) at the admission desk! They make the lights come to life! Then, stop by the Hot Chocolate Bar for a hot drink to keep you warmed up while you stroll. Finish the night off with roasting a S’more at the fire pit. Kits are available at the concessions stand and gift shop.
