The Springfield Park District would like to inform the community of an upcoming construction project happening on Wednesday, May 24th and Thursday, May 25th (weather permitting) on the park road next to Funshop in Lincoln Park.
During this time, the park road will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic during these two days. The project will include new concrete curbs, guttering, and paving.
Please note that the park and all facilities and programs within Lincoln Park will remain open during this time. Patrons attending Funshop on Wednesday, May 24th and Thursday, May 25th, will need to park in the Nelson Center parking lot and use the walking path from the Nelson Center parking lot to the Funshop building. Please allow a few extra minutes of travel time before and after Funshop classes.
